You can adjust the sensitivity on the camera. We have not had to adjust ours. I have gotten a few notifications for garbage trucks and larger vehicles. I live across the street from a school and there are a lot of vehicles. I do park my vehicle in my driveway so that may cut down on some of the notifications. I love my camera. It has really helped me feel more comfortable about what is happening outside my house.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You will get notifications and alerts. The camera would also start recording if you have that feature. But you can adjust the settings to low sensitivity which I did. I live on some what a busy street; school buses, garbage trucks and large SUVs still get picked up and I get alerts along with people approaching my door. I believe they’re coming up with an update that will learn what’s actually passing by and who is coming to your door soon. I overall love it, the only downside is with low sensitivity it doesn’t alert you fast enough to those quickly approaching your door but it does start recording right away.
