It is powered by the same two wires that would connect to your existing doorbell, and does also have a built in battery as well, but it needs that constant electrical connection
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Wired means you use the same wires attached to your doorbell, however your transformer must be an AC 16-24V rated. The camera also has a battery which must be charger periodically. If neither of these options work for you then be prepared to spend more money to have this capability! It is the same for every type of Doorbell cameras available.
