• Yes you will need a antenna for it the home dock comes with antenna you need it's a little bigger than the car key one but you will have to place it near a window or get a more permanent outside antenna.

• Yes you can. There is a special antenna that Best Buy or Sirius/XM sells that is made for out side. Or you can use there online App to listen thru your computer or laptop. You can also use all of the Echo products. Hope this helps
