I have a cabin that has no power and need to use the D battery option. Has anyone tried using the boom box with the batteries? If so, how long do the batteries last for you using this option? Also, which Sirius radio is best for the $ with this? Thanks. null

I found not more than about 4-5 hours on set of 8 batteries. And if you don’t use the batteries and just leave them in unit, they die as well. Very poor design.

The batteries don't last very long. 2-3 days with medium use.
