• You would need to change it to a frequency without a station. The radio allows you to store several FM frequencies, so you can quickly change to an unused frequency. Best bet is to use the AUX or Bluetooth output options, if your car stereo is capable.

• Go to a station you cannot pick up then you should not have to change it.

• don't really understand the question but does have a memory where if unplug or undock will return to the last station were listening to when plugged back in or docked but will go to live mode, of the station.
