Hi, I had a hard time pairing these the first time around too. Try this: Start with headphones turned off. Press and hold the power button and you'll hear them say "power on", but keep holding that button for a few more seconds and you should also hear "pairing". From there you should be able to pair the headphones to your smart tv from the tv menu.
