• Peter, From my experience (I have an older Samsung Tab A and newer one), once you fully seat the headphones, the speakers on the tablet cut off. If you have external bluetooth speakers, not sure what will happen. It is possible that you can use both because of the different circuits supplying the different items. But I am going to have try that out to see what will happen. Dan

• Yeah it works on mine and yes any headphone would cut off the external speakers.
