If I buy two slingboxes and set it up on one cable box can two people watch it at the same time? And be able to watch two separate shows at the same time?

I have not tried this configuration - my suspicion is that two people could be watching - each accessing one slingbox, however, because they are accessing the same tuner, they would have to watch the same program.

no... unless you have a different cable box ...we have 2 boxes setup in the house but 2 separate cable boxes...works great

I have not tried this yet but my older sling box hd 500 had inputs and outputs so you could watch something different at the house while on the outside someone could watch a different channel. This is a question for tech support from Slingbox media.

No...you are limited by what your television is able to do. the slingbox doesn't add features to your TV, it just allows you to watch it while away.

Yes, each apple TV has their own name, number, path, etc. and work separately. Cable box serves them as internet provider. Just name them differently (i.e. living room , family room etc. ) so you can pick the device easily.
