• Yes think about it like this when you use the slingbox its like your watching tv from your couch.

• Yes, it flips channels on your DVR, not TV.

• The slingplayer has a remote control. Whatever channel you change it too, the tv will change too.

• Yes, the Slingbox "shares" your TV, in the same way you would if you were at home on the couch. If this is an issue, you can connect the Slingbox to TV/set-top box that's used less often by those at home, or to a video source dedicated only to the Slingbox.
