• Yes, streams whatever is connected to Slingbox... Dvd recorder, tuner, cam feed, whatever you connect to Slingbox.

• Yes, Slingbox slings live TV. It forwards the feed directly from your TV or cable box, so it will stream whatever is on your TV at the time. If you get the channel on your TV, it will stream on the Slingbox. Be aware, though, that if someone else is watching the television to which the Slingbox is attached, you cannot watch a different channel without changing the channel for them, as well.
