• Yes I had to purchase the kit as the installation is just the labor to install the dishwasher and they will not do the installation without new electrical wiring and drain hoses

• Yes, installation fee is for the labor only. You will need to buy the new hoses, etc in the install kit regardless if you are installing or paying for installation.
