“why doesn't my machine beep when dispersing carbonation? I just purchased a Genesis, It doesn't beep like the manual says, what can the problem be ?”

Hey Chuck, Are you holding your button down UNTIL it beeps? I do not have the genesis but I have 2 different sodastream machines and both indicate that you Hold Down the button until you hear the beep (or buzzing sound) Ours is pretty loud, you cant miss it. So it is hold till beep, let go, press again till beep, let go, and once more for normal "fizz" less times for less fizz. Hope that helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It doesn't beep or really buzz but you should notice a louder noise like air releasing quickly from a tank and that is the noise they are talking about it will be a real difference from the very first second you push down

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Not sure if I would describe the sound as a "beep". More of a high pressure but low pitch sound. If your water is plenty fizzy for you, it's working. Maybe watch a YouTube or other video to see if it sounds the same?
