“How does the carbonator button work? How many times do you press it to get the right level of carbination you want. I have read reviews that say this information is not made clear with the instructions to operate.”

the instructions were pretty self explanatory. You push the button for 2-3 seconds and then release and do this 1-3 times or more depending on your preference. I hold the button once for 5ish seconds because I like it that way.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.As few as three and more if you want more carbonation. I use four and I think I would be nervous using more than five. I would be afraid that the bottle would blow off the unit. I don't know if SodaStream sets a safe limit.
