“want to use speaker volume controller. Will this work with Mag 6.1 ? Don't want kids using sono's app to change volume. Volume controller will auto match impedance as says up to 4 pairs of speakers @ 4 ohms. any concerns? I Don't play music loud”

Hi, Thank you for your question! While an impedance-matching volume control could technically be used with the Sonance MAG 6.1 Outdoor Speaker System, we do not recommend it. The Sonos Amp delivers 125 watts per channel, which exceeds the typical 60-watt rating of most volume controls, leading to potential overheating, distortion, or damage. Even with impedance matching, manual controls can interfere with system performance.
