“Hi bought this product for my house remodel. I’m not familiar with with amplifiers and how to set them up properly. I’m assuming Sonos amp is recommend for it. But would I be able to use any type amp to power them? Trying to save money where I can. Thanks”

Absolutely you can. Use any amplifier. I have 13 zone Sonos amp. They are great. But you were definitely looking for cheaper options there are so many amp options out there.
