“Are these Atmos quality / will they work as true atmos height speakers w/ a 7.2 atmos receiver setup as 5.1.2 where they would be the ".2"? This sale seems extreme. I didn't know if they were great speakers or used to be great speakers that are dated.”

Yes these can be used as height speakers in a 7.2.2 Atmos system. I mounted them 3 feet from the wall on which my team is mounted and they sound great.
