• Thanks for the question. Yes, the Sonance MAG6R speakers can work outside as you describe however, they are not designed to be used in areas that would expose them to excessive heat, cold, water, moisture, etc. Installing the speakers in a place that is open to outside elements could shorten the expected usable life of the speaker, so we do not recommend installing/exposing them to these environments.
