I see this come in a pair. I assume they are good to use for back L/R and front L/R, what about center channel? If it's not good for a center channel what would be recommended? null

Center channel should have good highs for vocals. But i have set these up before with 5 of the same and a sub and sounds good.

They sell a package of these at Best buy that includes three of these for the front left and center and two surround speakers for the rear and a subwoofer. So yes I believe it would be fine for a center channel.
