“Do these come in a black trim instead of white? Or is painting the only option?”

Painting is the only option but I know painting instructions are included in the box

HI, The MAG6R speakers are only offered in white. However, as you mentioned, the speaker grilles can be painted. I've provided a link below to our painting instructions.
