QuestionI get a loud pop in the left front when watching movies. Not all the time and when the action is getting good. I have theses one I set my around to small speakers. Could it be blown??

- Answer Minimum of 16 gauge but I would suggest 14 or 12 for long runs. Heavier gauge is always better than too light of a gauge!

The Sonance MAG6R speakers are designed to be used in spaces (indoors) that protect the speaker from excessive heat, cold, water, moisture, etc. I would not install them in a space that is open to the outside elements. - Answer Garage yes, patio...that is iffy. They're not technically outdoor speakers, but I would feel confident if this was installed in an outdoor ceiling (screened porch or sun room) where they would be protected 100% from precipitation. If it's just under an eave, then no way.

- Answer I have a 5.1.4 system and use the Mag6r's in the ceiling. I used the sonance visual performance 6-1/2" 2-way in-wall speaker for my center channel speaker. And holy crap does it sound amazing. The best buy theater guru informed me the center channel would not be a speaker to skimp on. It is pricey, but well worth it.

QuestionHi, I just bought a pair of Sonance MA6GR in-ceiling speakers. When I connect to my RXA1000 (surround back ports) I get no sound at all from the speakers. I checked the pairity of the connection, and all good. My old infinity works

- Answer I had the same problem I had my cable box straight to TV and my Audio came optical from tv to my onkyo. The fix was to go from my box to my receiver and use the receiver hdmi out to tv and they worked. Hope that helps.
