A: Hello Krunal, the 791 speakers are compatible with amplifiers or receivers rated 10-100W per channel/rated 4 to 8 ohms - this isn't something that a TV normally outputs as (it needs positive and negative bare wire connections), so the audio is output from a TV to a receiver normally, that is then connected via the bare wires to the 791 speakers.
A: Hi Buttons. Thanks for the question. The Virtually Invisible 791 In-Ceiling Speakers II are non-powered speakers. They will need to be connected to a receiver/amplifier that provides 10-100 W per channel, 4-8 ohms. Our SoundTouch SA-5 Amplifier is always an option! We hope this helps!

A: No. They cannot be used outdoors even if under cover. Normal weather moisture and heat/cold will ruin them quickly.
