Hi Joe, if you are able to plug the amp directly to the tv ARC port you don’t need the sound bar. In my set up the amp is located in a tech closet that’s not close to the tv so I needed to add the Sonos bean sound bar. Note that once your device is connected to Sonos it can play on all your Sonos speakers that are connected to amps.

Can you give me any tips on the connections and wiring? I will have the Sonos Amp inside (just feet away from the outdoor patio), the 2 Sonos ceiling speakers right outside under the patio , along with the Beam (Gen 2) soundbar with a hanging TV on a stone hearth/wall about 12 feet from the door going outside.
