“I just installed the Sonos Beam digitally through my cable box as my TV was already mounted on the wall. Works great but the audio on my DVD won't work unless I revert to the TV speakers. Will this be a problem unless I run a HDMI cable to the ARC?”

Great question! If you run an HDMI cable to your television and take advantage of ARC it will work with each other source that is plugged into the television. If you are running digital audio from the cable box the Beam only sees the audio that is coming from that source.

Please try again later.If your DVD player is connected directly to your TV then you will need an HDMI switcher with an optical output where the Cable box and DVD player would connect to it and then out from it to the TV. You can find them by doing a search for HDMI switcher with audio
