“how do you activate the voice assistant? Ive tried talking to it and also have it set up through the sonos app and my google assistant app but I still can't get the voice to work? Can you just say "hey google" with the sound bar and make it play?”

Download the sonos app and there is a section in it to activate Alexa or Google voice control.

Please try again later.If you have set up Google Assistant in the Sonos app and made sure that Sonos is linked in the Google Assistant app you should be able to use voice commands on your Sonos Beam. Make sure that the LED light on the top of the Beam next to the microphone icon is lit as that shows that the microphone is on and able to receive commands. If that LED is off, tap the microphone icon to turn on the microphone.
