Yes, it will pair. You'll need to use the Sonos app that you will have to load to your Mac. You can also play using "Stream What You Hear" from your computer. If you're not tech savy it can be annoying in the beginning.

The first way, which is the easiest is by utilizing Airplay 2 on your Mac to send audio to the Sos Five. The second is by downloading the Sonos MacOS software which is available here. https://support.sonos.com/s/downloads?language=en_US . This software can only be used after the product is fully set up using the phone/tablet app. The software allows for you to add a connection to your iTunes Library.
