“Curious if its worth getting two of these and then additional 2 of the Sonos 1 for true surround sound so ill ha e 1 sub woofer 1 arc 2 Sonos 1 beside tv and then 2 of the Sonos 5s in the back is this the ideal setup? Or is 2 5s over kill vs just use4 1”

This defines overkill. You really only need the arc, the sub, and two 1’s
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The Sonos system has no ability to use Front Left & Right speakers. If you have a large room, the 5’s will be wonderful for the Back surround speakers. My room is not really large and the 5’s in back were too much, so I actually use the 1’s for the back surround and the 5’s are in the front... BUT just used when I play music. Pairing the ARC and the Surround 1’s with the 5’s in front sound fantastic. Of course the Sub makes a great addition to any system.
