Not sure what you mean....they both work on the Sonos app, You can use that to play music over both at the same time in sync......

Please try again later.No. If your asking about getting one of each, a play one and a one (1 with Alexa and 1 without Alexa) they will work, but NOT if you try to pair them for your surrounds. I found this out the hard way. I only wanted the speaker closest to my head on the couch to have a voice assistant, but the app won't let you do that. However if you're just looking to add another speaker to your set up for like another room or something, then yes. Hope this helped. M@
