Yes, this is the speaker that you need to use. I have added mine as an additional room, I turn it on to better hear my TV when I’m in my kitchen. You can also use this speaker as a surround sound speaker for your sound bar. Although, you need a pair of them to set up surround sound. The speaker sounds great, exactly what you would expect from Sonos.

If you added two Sonos One speakers you could set them both up as rear channels to your Beam Gen 2 for surround sound, if that is what you would like.
