You would need either: 1) A private wifi network for them to hook up to 2) A router to plug one into directly via Ethernet, keeping them close enough in proximity that they can create their own network You can then "group" them through the Sonos app and they'll play together in sync. Just want to make sure they're on a private network so that patrons don't start playing whatever they want to them, unless you want to encourage that :)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. For background music, I would suggest the Sonos Play1 speakers. You would need one for each room, but can play the same music on all or different in each room if you want. As long as you have Wifi, very easy to setup.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. For small rooms with no need for major bass definitely just get the PLAY:1s. They are small but extremely powerful and the sound is great. They look nice too. I have the entire Sonos system from the Playbase+Sub to the PLAY:5, and PLAY:3s. I use a PLAY:1 in my ensuite (bathroom) and it is perfect.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would get at least Play 3s the 1s are ok but no bass and work better in pairs. The 3s you can leave in each room and your music sound perfect.. Make sure you have spotify, pandora, or something to play music from the web. Good luck

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sonos Play:1 will be perfect for your needs. You'll only need to buy one per room and it will fill the room with wonderful sound...You can control the volume of each device by pressing the up/down volume control on the top of the speaker (as well as press Pause if you need to) individually. You can also adjust the volume of one, or more (or all at once) through the Sonos app. Good luck! I love mine!
