USB will not work with this. You don't need it anyway. You'r router (that's your WiFi -- your wired/wireless internet) will provide the signal this uses just as it probably does for your apple tv/other devices (tablet/smart phones/ect..) . This will not (to my knowledge) stream music from your Apple TV, but it will stream music from the same sources. It will play, for example, from Rhapsody directly after you set the speaker up. think of this as a speaker you can throw anywhere in your house and it just works. The setup isn't that hard and support is great if you need them. Your sound bar will have nothing to do with this product. Only sonos products pair up with each other. This will NOT replace your sound bar.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The sonos will work for any of those components; it all connects wirelessly through your own WiFi. The Sonos, however, will not pair with your soundbar. The only down side to the Sonos system is that you have to buy add-on components to make already existing speakers work with it (even if those speakers are already WiFi enabled). So if you are planning on using the soundbar AND the play 1 at the same time, they will not work that way without a CONNECT component from Sonos (another $350)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. While I can't answer all your questions, I can take a crack at a couple of them. Sonos speakers (not their sound bar) have only one way to communicate, through wifi. Anything you can broadcast over wifi can be played on the Sonos speakers. Sonos supports a wide variety of music services, including Apple Music and Amazon Music. Rhapsody is available in some areas, though apparently not all.

Stream directly from your computer and connect a sonos? Stream from your appletv to your tv and through sonos? Connect it to your sony soundbar? I can answer all of those just tell me which, or if I am off in reading your question. Sorry if I am. Sonos is controlled by either a direct connection, then through an app. So if you wanted to control everything and play it through the app, which doesn't have a rhapsody connection, you would run it through your computer, and all you could control from the app is the settings, probably not the songs. Haven't tried that as I use spotify which is one of the connections via the sonos app. As far as incorporating the Sony soundbar, you would have to look up what type of connections it has, and check with Sonos website or via email regarding compatibility. Most are not though, as they have direct feeds to the televisions only. Hopefully this helps. Sorry again if I misunderstood your question.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. These speakers are connected with WiFi. Anything that runs an App can be used to control. I use my phone, tablet and PC with streaming music.
