No they will not. They connect onto you wifi network and you use a device such as iPad, or phone to control what's played.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you use a Sonos Connect to feed your receiver and you group them with your Play 1 speakers, I think this would probably work. But if your Sony and Play 1's independently connect to your source, I think they would likely be out of sync. Ths Sonos Group feature works great for multiple Sonos devices. But if I play the same source through 2 Sonos speakers independently (i.e., not grouped), they are out of sync. I hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I wouldn't think that would work very well. The speakers need to be connected to your internet in your house and I would think there would be a delay in the signal between the wired and the Sonos.
