Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes I would recommend using a Sonos sound bar with optical input from your system or a Sonos Link with direct audio input as input to your system. I use the link for special audio and NAS box files and optical sound bar input from TV as being played from DVD/ Bluray select the one you want in the app and listen to your choice in any location on the same network with the sonos products. You can even select different inputs to each speaker if you wish. It took some practice to work it all out but I can use XM radio to Play 3 on deck and TV sound to 3 others and still have tune in playing in my home office.

Then you can purchase other SONOS devices and group them to the SONOS directly connected to your receiver. A strong and stable wireless connection would be required to ensure quality sound and performance.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. To use Sonos with you receiver, you would either need a PLAYBAR or PLAY: 5 as those have inputs (optical audio and aux cable respectively). Once a SONOS product is then hooked to the receiver, any and all Sonos products in your home can play that input.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No not without SONOS sound bar I believe.
