• No. Unfortunately, the Mic is only used for smart assistants, but can't be used as a mic for laptops/phones

• Hi, and thank you very much for this question! The microphone in the Sonos Roam must be activated in the Sonos app by going to the cog wheel (settings) on the bottom right -> Services and voice -> add voice assistant. From there we will handshake with Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa. Whichever you prefer.
