It will pass-through HDR10, but Sony wants you to spend a fortune on a more expensive model just to get Dolby Vision (a simple firmware update would do it, but they'd rather have you spend more money). The proof is that my bluray player has a second HDMI for audio, allowing me to route the video directly to the TV and preserve the Dolby Vision. This receiver actually refuses to play audio from the bluray player if the TV isn't set to the receiver's HDMI input. It won't let you listen to an input you aren't watching on the TV. The fix is to disconnect the receiver's HDMI output cable and use the TV's inputs for switching. I use the TOSLINK output from the TV to get older Dolby Digital from the TV and streaming services (which are compressed anyway) and have to manually switch the receiver to the bluray's HDMI input when we watch a bluray disk, giving the full uncompressed sound options available on the bluray. This isn't ideal and you end up needing multiple remotes (or a smart remote) to control everything since you give up the HDMI control ... this means turning on the receiver manually, etc. So ... its possible, but it goes out of the way to make it harder to accomplish.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is HDR10 compatible but does not support Dolby Vision.
