It does, but you have to take a few steps. If you hook up all 7 speakers, the speaker button on the front of the cabinet will only toggle between SPKRA and SPKROFF. I have two speakers in my back yard and need to have them off when no one is out there. Do this. Disconnect your B speakers (the speaker jack reads BiAmp/B Front High, etc. use the calibration microphone to calibrate in the main room and it will set up the system as 5.1 or 5.2. Then connect the B speakers. Now, when you push the speaker button in the front if the cabinet, it will toggle between A, B, AB, and speaker off. Then you need to select the surround sound Mode that best suits the space. I only play music when using the B speakers, so it sounds great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. From the documentation and the lable on the rear panel I would say that yes it does support this. Page 16 https://docs.sony.com/release//Help_4584081111.pdf It does indicate that you can chose from either A or B or Both.

Setup menu then gives you the option of diverting the back surround connections to a "B" speaker selection. Downloadable instructions offer some guidance. This is how my system is set up.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does. Download the PDF manual as it gives more detailed instructions than the box manual. https://docs.sony.com/release//Help_4584081111.pdf After you have entered your speaker setting which should be 5.1, if you want to use the "B" speaker terminals in another room or outdoors, run your calibration test. Hook up your other room speakers to the "bi-amp front speakers" then go into speaker assignments and assign for the surround back speaker terminals on the display panel. Set [SB ASSIGN] to [SPK B] in the [
] menu. You can then toggle between the speakers. You have to use 2ch/multi when listening to the B speakers in the other room or you will continue to hear sound from your main speaker system while using the other "B" room speakers. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, this unit does not have an A/B speaker switch.
