- Answer No, I understand that. And if the market will bear a $100.00 increase that's fine. But for a number of years this unit has sold for $599.00. On sale I have seen it as low as $399.00. Suddenly the price jumps $100.00. Just hard to understand apart from a realization that Sony could do it and still sell it to many people.

- Answer I have xm on my phone, go to home then listen, bluetooth and have you phone on bluetooth with xm playing it should sync up. Took a couple of tries but happy to have yacht rock at the pool now

- Answer Hi Mike, Thanks for your inquiry. Unfortunately, connecting more than one speaker to a speaker connection is not recommended and not supported. Also, only two speakers can be connected to the Zone 2 speaker terminals. -Ralph

- Answer Hi Customer, Thank you for the interest! We recommend connecting wired speakers with a nominal impedance of 6 ohms to 16 ohms. We also recommend using speaker wires that are anywhere between 12 to 16 gauge. These are most commonly used for connecting speakers to an amplifier or an Audio/Video (A/V) receiver. Regards, David

- Answer Hi pq1sound, Thanks for your inquiry. Both receivers will work with the XBR55A9G and UBP-X800M2. However, neither receiver don't have an input specifically designed for a turntable (PHONO INPUT). To connect a turntable to a stereo system, the stereo system should have a PHONO input. If a PHONO input is not available, the turntable must have a built-in amplifier or an in-line amplifier must be used to connect the turntable to another input on the stereo system. NOTE: Sony does not produce an in-line amplifier. The STR-DH790 is also a newer model. QuestionI'm slightly confused by the zone outputs. Can I send HDMI signal from say a cable box to the primary 5 speakers and primary tv, but also send an hdmi signal from another input to a different tv and speakers by choosing zone 2?

QuestionQ's for this Sony A/V. I have a 7.1 set up, when I play say a music video, I can't get my powered sub to work no matter what I configure but works great with Dolby on movies. For Zone 2, I can't hear audio from my cable source with Zone 2 turned on.

- Answer Hi aquadude777, We do apologize for the inconvenience. The subwoofer is designed for the playback of the bass sound. When the input source does not contain much bass sound, as is the case with most sources, the bass sound may not be audible. You can only do 5.1 with a zone 2 connection.
