Q: QuestionI have a Sony Bravia XBR65x900E TV hooked to this soundbar through ARC. Is there a way with this TV-Soundbar combination to control the volume level that commercials make go much louder? I'd like to have a consistent volume level.

• A:Answer Use your TV Volume Offset Setting Keeps volume level constant across all programs and advertisements (e.g. Advertisements tend to be louder than programs). Volume Offset. Adjusts the current volume level relative to other inputs, when “Setting Memory” is set to the current input.

• A:Answer According to the sales rep at Best Buy, this model is surround sound which is good for TV and music. The HT-CT790 has a center speaker in the soundbar that is used solely for movie dialogue because the sound is recorded differently, that way you will not have explosive music in the movie but be unable to hear the dialogue. We bought this model at a great price during holidays, and I haven't noticed an issue with movies.
