Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes; I have an iPhone 5s and once the soundbar is in BlueTooth mode your phone will recognize the device. No need to enter a passcode, too. As long as your phone sees the device it will connect. You can control the volume with your phone as well as increase/decrease with the soundbar's volume controls. In other words when you play your music you turn up the input (your phone) and then add additional sound with the soundbar controls.
