• If the tv has an optical cable input or a 3.5 mm jack. It will work

• If your TV has digital audio output, I do not see why it should not work. It is a funny little port and the cable you need is included with the sound bar materials.

• As long as your TV has a digital audio connection this soundbar will be compatible. I use the optical connection as it has a higher sound quality than HDMI IMO.

• The unit has small sound projection even with my 48" TV. I can only imagine your disappointment with an 80".

• It will work but will look really small. I have a 60 and it's only about half as wide as the tv
