• Not too bad for a flat panel tv. We have both of our Sony tvs hooked up to Zvox soundbases. I highly recommend those.

• Sound quality is ok. I use to have a pioneer plasma tv that sounded better. I bought a sound bar to add better sound to the tv.

• I purchased the TV for Delores. She is elderly and does not use a computer or the like. She loves the TV, though being hard of hearing, has the volume quite high to hear. I bought her the sound bar though she doesn't have it installed at this time.
