Try to do a firmware update. If you have done that already, then do a hard reset by unplugging it for at least 30 seconds before reconnecting. Just an FYI, I’ve never experienced that issue before.

Try another source — such as off-air or a DVD — and see if you can duplicate the clicking. If you can, try changing out any cables to connected equipment and/or make sure they are firmly seated. Also, go to your sound settings and make sure you have the Auto sound output enabled so that it doesn't try to output a format that your device (such as soundbar) can't properly decode. If you still have a problem, remove any connected speakers and try again from the internal speaker. If the clicking continues even tuning to off-air content (not a cable box) and even without a soundbar or similar attached, contact SONY (or Geek Squad if you bought the warranty) for assistance.
