Does the camera have a view finder? null

No it does not. The FDR-X3000R has a live view remote which can be used as a monitor and also control the camera.

The camera does not have a view finder, however, if you have a smart phone or tablet, by downloading the PlayMemories Mobile app on both you will be able to view what you are about to record.

You would use the blue tooth feature and your phone would serve as the view finder. In wide angle mode, you can easily point it in the direction you need to capture.
