Yes they are secure i used the ones it came with.. the wall mount also came with the same length screws. The longer ones are too long.

It's up to the mount holes on the bracket if they can be used safely to secure the tv to the bracket that then goes on the wall. These screws are not to be used to hold the bracket on the wall.
