A very basic question about an important specification that affects viewing performance. A buyer has to spend a substantial sum of money to acquire a Bravia TV. To not provide a basic piece of information like brightness, is akin to not providing battery specifications for a BEV. In both cases it precludes me being a buyer of that product. I will keep my 56" Sony LCD TV for now and look elsewhere for my upgrade from a more forth coming brand.

You can sometimes find these types of answers from online reviewers and within discussion forums. You can also check the available information of the full specifications and features of the A80K from this link: https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/televisions-projectors-oled-tvs-android-/xr-55a80k/specifications Regards, Sam
