Sony tv's still work with Amazon prime but I have no idea what could happen in the future. According the Cheddar and Cnet, the market is so saturated with providers but they are starting to try to combine because of over saturation. Too many cooks in the kitchen and only a couple of stoves.

Please try again later.You can always download apps from the Google App Store-- so you can download the Amazon Prime Video app. There are no guarantees about going forward. I would bet that it will be Amazon compatible for years and years but no guarantees. I just downloaded from the Google Play store both the Amazon Music and the Amazon Video apps and they both work fine.
