• If you do not have it connected to the accessory wire (positive when the key is in the on position) the head unit will stay on and there is not a way to turn it off. You will either need follow the installation instructions to wire it to the accessory wire in your car or install a toggle / rocker switch to turn it off. I hope this helps.
