A:AnswerIf you do not have it connected to the accessory wire (positive when the key is in the on position) the head unit will stay on and there is not a way to turn it off. You will either need follow the installation instructions to wire it to the accessory wire in your car or install a toggle / rocker switch to turn it off. I hope this helps.
A:AnswerWe had one installed in our 2004 Suburban Z71. We did have it installed professionally so that all the steering wheel controls still worked. We also had a backup camera installed. Everything worked perfectly. Again we did a professional install because of the old vehicle and newer technology with the head unit.
A:AnswerI'm guessing you mean to run on the stock head unit internal amp. 50 RMS up to 300 RMS. The lower wattage speaker will sound louder in most instances but may blow if you like to push them to the limit. Keep in mind any speaker can blow when distortion and clipping is introduced. Safe bet is to only turn your head unit up 3/4 of the max volume at most. I would find a 100 to 150 watt RMS speaker as a happy medium.
