Installed the Sony XAV-100 with a RP5-GM11 on a 2004 Chevy Avalanche, everything works, except the audio when the engine starts, I will have to select OnStar to initiate audio then cancel in order to have audio output, any suggestions as to how I can fix? null

Had the same issue with a 03 Chevy Tahoe. Only way to get around it is to buy a harness kit that bypasses the onstar. I forget the exact cost for it but in my situation I just hit the onstar button and got used to it because of the cost of the harness
