• You don’t need a sound bar. Sound is very good. I don’t have a sound bar so I don’t know if yours will work.

• This TV has ok sound but you have to remember as thin as this TV is, it is not great! With such an amazing picture as this TV has, sound is the other 50% of the experience so in my opinion yes, you are going to want a sound bar with a sub woofer, I have the polk audio sound bar with wireless sub and wireless surrounds and let me tell you, it made all the difference. Your other question about Best Buy installing it, thats up to you and your knowledge. You are definitley going to need 2 people for this setup especially when putting on the stand sense you CAN NOT lay this TV flat with such a large screen it can break under pressure. Id say if you can hook up any other TV, you will be fine with this with just a helper.
