If you're shooting on a sony camera then I would recommend this over sigma or tamron. The autofocus is super fast when you use sony glass with sony cameras, if you're shooting manual focus this may not be a big issue for you, but I assume if you're looking at a 70-200 you plan on doing some nature photography or possibly sports photography, in which case you will want the autofocus feature to be quick

This lens by Sony is for their E/FE-mount line (the a6000 series of APS-C crop sensor cameras or the A7 and A9 full-frame series of cameras). To use A-mount lenses like the ones by Sigma and Tamron require the use of one of Sony's A-mount to E-mount adapters (there are 4 models that vary based on what sensors they support - APS-C crop sensor only or crop and full-frame sensor - and whether or not the adapter supports auto-focus). Unfortunately, use of these adapters reduces the number of AF points that are available to you, they are a tad pricey, and the adapters that allow auto-focus use a translucent mirror in the adapter that many have reported reduces the amount of light reaching the sensor by 1/3 a f-stop. For these reasons, I would recommend the official Sony E/FE-mount 70-200mm lenses, either the G series f/4 or G-Master series f/2.8.
